In your student's binder you will find a sight word list. Sight words are common words that students should be able to recognize instantly and do not "sound out." They recognize them by sight. Learning sight words will help build reading fluency and comprehension. Students should practice these words at home. We will also practice them at school.
Students will be tested at the end of the month over the sight word list. A new sight word list will be sent home at the beginning of every month.
